Who are you ?
Who are you to an anonymous voice that you never heard before?
What are the conditions for sharing identity
and self-perception?
How much are we willing to expose in an intimate conversation with a stranger?
Idea/ Concept
Over a time period of one month
pieces of paper with private phone numbers
on them were collected from the trash
and streets of Barcelona city.
Afterwards each of these numbers were called and the conversations were recorded.
The reactions and strange conversations
that arose from this experiment
were then presented in a Videoinstallation
with the transcripts on display.
The one central question
that was asked in the beginning of each call ,,Who are you?" is the center of this project.
